Hotel guests expect to feel safe and secure in their hotel. It is an important part of settling in to unfamiliar surroundings, and the basis of an enjoyable stay. Hotel owners take this responsibility seriously as part of their duty of care and seek to keep the hotel clean and free from bacteria and infections. Crucially, managers expect their workers to sanitize their hands before dealing with food and drink. Good hand hygiene practices are hard to sustain for busy workers, but reduce their risk of absenteeism and ‘presenteeism’ too.
Everyone has heard about Hospital Acquired Infection (HAI). It's been covered in the news, and hospitals that are found to be dirty or particularly bad at infection control are highlighted in the media. Unfortunately, people have become accustomed to horror stories of superbugs such as MRSA and C-diff, and the apparent negligence of hospital staff who don't clean their hands. Over time, the threat of HAIs has become normalized and the public pressure to change has eased. This has resulted in a dangerous status quo. Unfortunately, for the people who lose a loved one, and patients who have to stay in hospital for longer, the danger of HAIs are very real. Existing approaches are failing patients and this problem will not go away.
As we age, our immune systems become weaker and we become more susceptible to infection, and less able to recover from it. As such, hand hygiene is a huge issue for facilities that look after the elderly. Many such homes provide medical care to their residents, and in doing so, expose them to potential harm by skin-to-skin contact with contaminated hands. Additionally, the residents themselves come into contact with each other through shared and group interactions such as meals and social activities.
A host of factors play in a patron’s enjoyment of a restaurant: the service, the variety of the menu, and obviously the food itself. But one hugely important element that restaurant owners tend to look passed is the quality and cleanliness of the bathrooms. The installation of our products in restaurant washrooms shows customers that hygiene is important to the management. Most importantly, our handles provide an important barrier that prevents contamination of foods.
When people think of hand hygiene, they most often think of hospitals, but the standards maintained in the food production industry are often higher. This is because the costs of failure are incomparably high. Recalls on products crush profitability and leave brands decimated. Our CountClean system allows for cheap and reliable hand sanitisation monitoring 24/7, while the PullClean handle ensures hands are cleaned before entering the workspace.
As many parents know, the costs of education are substantial. College kids themselves are also increasingly aware that they will be saddled with considerable debts and that there time in education is an investment. Falling ill at critical periods can badly affect overall attainment. Making this worse, students live in close proximity and bring infections and viruses from all over America when starting the year. PullClean has been installed at many tertiary education providers who are keen to look after their students and show them that they care so that they can enjoy their year and get the best possible results.
